GLUCOPHAGE 850MG TABLET
Description
Glucophage is an antidiabetes drug containing metformin hcl produced by the Indonesian PT Mercck and is registered in BPM. Metformin is oral diabetes that helps control blood sugar levels. Glucophage is used to improve blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. Glucophage is sometimes used in combination with insulin or other drugs, but it's best not to treat type 1 diabetes.

Indication
Early treatment of type 2 with more weight than normal and diet and exercise failure. Sulfonilurea therapy has failed, combination therapy with sulfonilurea. Additional therapy in type 1 diabetes to reduce insulin doses.

Warning
Unperfect kidney function, regular kidney function monitor, pregnant and breastfeeding, stop therapy 2-3 days before surgery, conditions that can cause dehydration, serious infections or trauma.
